The layout of the Gigabyte GA-PDS3R motherboard is good, all the ports and connectors are labeled well, jacks and cables organized nicely around big peripherals like the videocard and memory. We like these because the gigabyte ga p35 ds3 lock into the SATA motherboard gx. Up till now, the Intel P35 chipset remains on similar grounds with the P in terms of overclocking.
The only issue was that the MCH chip ran much hotter than all the previous P35 boards we’ve tested thus far while overclocking. The Gigabyte GA-PDS3R is a good example of a striped down mainstream motherboard, yet because it’s built upon the versatile Intel P35 Express chipset, it crunches office applications just as well as enthusiast grade boards. This allows a bare hard drive to be quickly connected to the PC without opening up the chassis.

We’ve managed to achieve an average FSB overclock around the MHz range for most of the boards we’ve tested, but there has gihabyte no indication that the P35 is more overclockable than the P The board would actually boot up to MHz, but was not stable under Windows.
